Football Game Preview: Woodland Wolfpack vs. Hampton Hornets + How To Watch

After each having a week off, the Woodland Wolfpack and the Hampton Hornets will shake off the cobwebs and hit the field against one another at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Woodland managed to slip by Eagle's Landing Christian Academy the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wolfpack took a blow against the Chargers two weeks ago, falling 27-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Wolfpack were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Hampton came up short against Locust Grove two weeks ago and fell 35-26. The Hornets were down 29-6 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Woodland will have to contain Tristan Parks as he made an impact in Hampton's last game. He threw for 255 yards and three touchdowns.

Hampton's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Woodland, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 3-2.

Woodland was dealt a bruising 37-7 loss at the hands of Hampton when the teams last played back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Parks, who threw for 380 yards and five TDs while completing 74.2% of his passes.
