WF West put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their undefeated season alive. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Shelton Highclimbers. Surprisingly, this marked the sixth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

WF West's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Shelton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as WF West Bearcats duke it out with Centralia Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. WF West is facing Centralia at the right time seeing as Centralia is stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Shelton, they will challenge Aberdeen at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Aberdeen will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Shelton surely won't give up without a fight.
