Softball Recap: Santa Fe Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Santa Fe finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against the Piedra Vista Panthers, falling 16-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Demons in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost three in a row.

Santa Fe's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Piedra Vista, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Santa Fe will venture away from home to face off against Kirtland Central at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Piedra Vista, they will host Albuquerque Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
