Howard lost against Westside back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Howard Huskies fell 52-39 to the Westside Seminoles. The Huskies 's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Westside had a senior duo take command as Joshua Harden dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds and Christian Little went 7 for 13 on his way to 19 points and five boards. The game was Harden's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Alex Butts, who posted six points and five boards.

Howard's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Westside, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-6.

Howard will face off against West Laurens at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Westside, they will square off against Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Jackson: they have been struggling with seven straight losses at home, while Westside has snatched up five consecutive wins on the road.
