Baseball Recap: Erie Drops Highest Score of Season Against Girard

Erie's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Girard, the win got them back to even at 3-3-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Erie will head out to take on Marmaton Valley at 4:30 a.m. on Friday. As for Girard, they will venture away from home to face off against Baxter Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (the Trojans have three straight victories, the Lions have three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
