Monroe-Woodbury waltzed into their matchup on Friday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Valley Central Vikings 42-13. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-0.

It was another big night for ETHAN MALDONADO, who threw for 163 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes, and also rushed for 78 yards and one score on only ten carries. Monroe-Woodbury also got help from BRAYLON SHILLINGFORD, who showed off his sure hands for 121 receiving yards.

Monroe-Woodbury's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Valley Central, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Monroe-Woodbury has already played their next contest, a 28-21 win against Middletown on the 15th. Valley Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
