Football Recap: Laingsburg Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Laingsburg unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were dealt a 42-0 defeat at the hands of the Michigan Lutheran Seminary Cardinals on Thursday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Michigan Lutheran Seminary to victory, but perhaps none more so than Noah Reif, who rushed for 100 yards and one score. Reif didn't just play on offense: he also made seven total tackles (1.5 for loss) and defended one pass. Brady Teske was another key back, rushing for 83 yards and one TD.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Laingsburg will welcome Fowler at 7:00 p.m. on September 5. This will be the Wolfpack's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Michigan Lutheran Seminary, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Beaverton at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
