Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask IDEA North Mission). They walked away with a 66-59 win over the Monte Alto Blue Devil on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-47 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Monte Alto still got an impressive performance from Ricky Serrano, who went 16 of 27 on his way to 47 points. That was a full 79.7% of Monte Alto's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points.

The victory (which was IDEA North Mission's third in a row) raised their record to 7-12. As for Monte Alto, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. IDEA North Mission will welcome Vanguard Academy Rembrandt at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Vanguard Academy Rembrandt's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches. As for Monte Alto, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Vanguard Academy Beethoven at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
