Softball Recap: Brunswick Comes Up Short

Brunswick fell victim to Catoctin and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 8-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss two weeks ago.

Brunswick saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sienna Russo, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base.

Brunswick's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Catoctin, the win (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 14-1-1.

As of now, neither Brunswick nor the Cougars have any future games scheduled.
