Volleyball Recap: ALA - Anthem South Comes Up Short

ALA - Anthem South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Madison Highland Prep Heat, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-14, 25-9.

ALA - Anthem South's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Madison Highland Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-9.

Coincidentally, ALA - Anthem South and Madison Highland Prep will both be playing Gilbert Classical Academy the next time they take the court. The Titans will head out to face the Spartans at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Heat will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
