Volleyball Game Preview: Leland Panthers vs. Woodland Warriors

Leland is 0-5 against Woodland since September of 2019 but things could change on Wednesday. The Panthers will head out on the road to face off against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Tuesday, Leland came up short against Newark and fell 2-0.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Woodland also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Dwight by a score of 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-19.

Woodland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Leland, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.

Leland couldn't quite get it done against Woodland when the teams last played back in September of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
