Curie has gone 8-2 against Hyde Park recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when the Curie Condors duke it out with the Hyde Park Thunderbirds at 5:00 p.m. Curie will be strutting in after a win while Hyde Park will be coming in after a loss.

Last Saturday, Curie beat Dyett 57-49.

Meanwhile, Hyde Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 57-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lincoln. While losing is never fun, the Thunderbirds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 140th in Illinois, while the Abes are ranked 13th in Michigan).

Hyde Park's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Curie, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.

Curie couldn't quite finish off Hyde Park in their previous meeting back in January of 2023 and fell 2-0. Can Curie avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
