Volleyball Recap: Pflugerville Connally Comes Up Short

Pflugerville Connally was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Bastrop Bears, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered against the Bears since October 15, 2021.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-9, 25-11.

Pflugerville Connally's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Bastrop, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pflugerville Connally will welcome Akins at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Bastrop, they will be playing in front of their home fans against London at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday.
