Volleyball Recap: Lingle-Fort Laramie's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Lingle-Fort Laramie entered their tilt with Encampment on Friday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 2-0. This was payback for the Doggers, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Lingle-Fort Laramie easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-20.

Addisyn WIlkins paced Lingle-Fort Laramie's offense, picking up six kills. WIlkins got some help from Skyla Wunder and her nine assists. Shaylynn Wunder controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lingle-Fort Laramie's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Encampment, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coincidentally, Lingle-Fort Laramie and Encampment will both be playing Little Snake River the next time they take the court. The Doggers will host the Rattlers at 3:50 p.m. on Friday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on the 23rd.
