 Heritage Classical Christian Academy might have lost, but man,  Luke Heskett was a machine:  he  dropped  a double-double on 30 points and 18  boards. Heskett is  crushing it when it comes to  rebounds: he's   pulled down at least eight every time he's  taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was  Josh Gray, who  posted nine  points along with six  boards and three  steals.
Meanwhile, Crosspoint Christian posted their biggest  victory since December 1, 2023 on Friday. They blew past New Life Christian, posting  a  68-40 win. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Crosspoint Christian.
Heritage Classical Christian Academy better keep an eye on  Payton Lauth. He was instrumental in Crosspoint Christian's win,  dropping  a double-double on 25 points and 22  rebounds. The dominant performance gave  Lauth a new career-high in  points.  Asher Weldy was another key player,  almost  dropping  a double-double on nine points and nine  steals.
 Crosspoint Christian  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 18  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least nine  offensive boards in five consecutive  games.
 Crosspoint Christian's victory was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 5-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 61.7 points per game. As for Heritage Classical Christian Academy, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost three of their last four contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 13-3 record  this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest:  Heritage Classical Christian Academy has been smashing the glass this season,  having  averaged 35.8  boards per game. However, it's not like Crosspoint Christian struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 39.8  rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
 Heritage Classical Christian Academy strolled past Crosspoint Christian in their previous meeting  back in November of 2024 by a score of  45-28.
