Fieldcrest waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Marquette Crusaders by a score of 2-0. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Fieldcrest not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Marquette between 16 and 18 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-16.

Fieldcrest's victory bumped their record up to 10-14-2. As for Marquette, they now have a losing record of 9-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fieldcrest will welcome Gibson City-Melvin-Sibley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Marquette, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Midland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
