Volleyball Recap: Oakville's Losing Streak Snapped at Eight Games

Oakville had to endure an eight-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Bayless Bronchos by a score of 3-1 on Friday.

Among those leading the charge was Brendan Strickland, who had 15 digs and two assists. Those two assists gave him a new career-high.

Oakville's win bumped their record up to 6-15. As for Bayless, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season.

Oakville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Lindbergh on the 13th. Bayless does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
