Basketball Recap: Godinez Fundamental Comes Up Short

Godinez Fundamental lost against Fullerton on January 8th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Godinez Fundamental Grizzlies received a blow as they fell 60-41 to the Fullerton Indians. The Grizzlies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fullerton's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jordan Myvett, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. The match was Myvett's eighth in a row with at least ten points. Jad Mustafa was another key player, going 5 for 6 on his way to 17 points and six boards.

Godinez Fundamental's defeat dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Fullerton, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 15-10.

Godinez Fundamental didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 59-53 loss against Calvary Chapel on the 29th. Fullerton has also already played their next contest, a 63-33 defeat against Tustin on the 29th.
