Basketball Game Preview: Riverdale Rams vs. Sterling Golden Warriors

The Riverdale Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Sterling Golden Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Riverdale is headed into Tuesday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They took a 52-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rockridge on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 210th, while the Rockets are ranked 96th).

Meanwhile, Sterling was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a blow against Quincy, falling 84-45. The Golden Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-28.

Riverdale's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Sterling, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-13.
