The team also got some help courtesy of Destanie Mccullough, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Meanwhile, Howland was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 43-39 to West Branch. Howland has struggled against West Branch recently, as their game on Saturday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Austintown-Fitch didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Howland when the teams last played last Wednesday, but they still walked away with a 54-50 victory. Does Austintown-Fitch have another victory up their sleeve, or will Howland turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
