Soccer Recap: Wabash Comes Up Short

Wabash came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Tri-Central Trojans, falling 5-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Wabash of the 6-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Their goal came courtesy of Prestyn Jones, who's now up to four this season.

Wabash's defeat dropped their record down to 1-12-1. As for Tri-Central, they pushed their record up to 10-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Wabash didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 1-0 victory against North Miami on the 29th. As for Tri-Central, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastern at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
