Recap: Hebron Christian Lions vs. Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles

The Hebron Christian Lions pushed their score all the way to 58 on Saturday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They received a tough blow as they fell 72-58 to Gray Collegiate Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hebron Christian has scored all season.

It was another big night for Treyvon Maddox, who scored 22 points along with six rebounds for Gray Collegiate Academy. Maddox is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Pauling, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Hebron Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 18-2. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 22-5.

Hebron Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Hart County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hart County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 268 points over their last four matchups. As for Gray Collegiate Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Columbia at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbia will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps South Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 190th, while Gray Collegiate Academy is ranked sixth).
