Soccer Game Preview: Citrus Valley vs. Redlands East Valley

The Citrus Valley Blackhawks will face off against the Redlands East Valley Wildcats at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Thursday, Citrus Valley came up short against Cajon and fell 3-1. The Blackhawks have struggled against the Cowboys recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, after a string of five wins, Redlands East Valley's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. Neither they nor Beaumont could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result kept the Wildcats happy, as they haven't lost a game since January 13th.

Their goal came courtesy of Jayden Perkins, which was the first he's scored this season.

With that draw, Redlands East Valley's record moves to 12-3-4. As for Citrus Valley, their loss dropped their record down to 6-12-2.
