Volleyball Game Preview: Lincoln Park Lions vs. North Grand Eagle Owls

The Lincoln Park Lions will venture away from home to challenge the North Grand Eagle Owls at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Lincoln Park can't be too worried about heading out to take on North Grand: they just beat Kelly at home, who had been dominant on their own court up to that point. The Lions walked away with a 2-0 win over the Trojans on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Meanwhile, North Grand earned a 2-0 victory over Noble Street College Prep on Monday.

Lincoln Park's record is now 8-5. As for North Grand, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Lincoln Park came up short against North Grand in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Lions avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
