Basketball Recap: Port Washington Takes a Loss

Port Washington lost against Homestead back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Port Washington Pirates might have been a little too into the holiday spirit, gifting the Homestead Highlanders an easy 62-36 win. The matchup marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Port Washington has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season. As for Homestead, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-1.

Port Washington and Two Rivers will round out the year against one another at at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Homestead, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Pewaukee at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Homestead's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
