Volleyball Recap: Nease Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After flying high against Orange Park on Tuesday, Nease came back down to earth. The Panthers fell 3-1 to the Bolles Bulldogs on Thursday. The Panthers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in August of 2024.

Nease started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 17-25, 26-24, 25-20, 28-26.

Despite the loss, Nease still got an impressive performance from Ari Ryan, who had four digs and four aces.

Nease's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Bolles, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Nease is taking a road trip to face off against Bartram Trail at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bolles, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Episcopal School of Jacksonville at 6:00 p.m.
