Baseball Recap: Calera Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Calera's offense. They came up short against the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats on Thursday, falling 10-0. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 4-1 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in March of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Calera's defeat dropped their record down to 7-13. As for Tuscaloosa County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-9 record this season.

Calera will take on Fairview in a tournament on Thursday. As for Tuscaloosa County, they will face off against Helena at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
