Softball Recap: Davenport Broncos vs. Tenoroc Titans
Davenport stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Tenoroc Titans as the Davenport Broncos made off with an 18-2 victory. The win was familiar territory for Davenport who now have three in a row.
Makayla Gonzalez made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Gonzalez was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, a triple, and a run.
In other batting news, Davenport got a massive performance out of Jordyn Duran, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, five RBI, and three runs. Another player making a difference was Lyric Pittman, who went 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and a triple.
