After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Centralia, Wabaunsee was happy to have turned things around  on Thursday. They came out on top against the Lebo Wolves by a score of  9-6. The  victory was some much needed relief for the Chargers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
 The team  relied heavily on  Kinsley Michaelis, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Kendra Conrad, who  scored a  run and  stole a base.
Wabaunsee picked up their first road  win, bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Lebo, their  defeat was their first of the  season and  makes their record 6-1.
Wabaunsee will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wolves: the pair will be back at it again later today.
