Preview: Eau Claire vs. Hunter-Kinard-Tyler
Eau Claire will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Hunter-Kinard-Tyler in at Hunter Kinard Tyler at 7:30 PM. Eau Claire will be strutting in after a win while Hunter-Kinard-Tyler will be stumbling in from a loss.
Eau Claire had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They blew past Lewisville 44-18. Eau Claire was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile,, Hunter-Kinard-Tyler couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They were given a punishing 0-39 defeat at the hands of Edisto.
Hunter-Kinard-Tyler's loss took them down to 0-1 while Eau Claire's victory pulled them up to write [team] current record. A win for Hunter-Kinard-Tyler would reverse both their bad luck and Eau Claire's good luck. We'll see if Hunter-Kinard-Tyler manages to pull off that tough task or if Eau Claire keeps their momentum going instead.
