Basketball Recap: Henry Ford Academy Comes Up Short

Henry Ford Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Detroit Public Safety Academy Eagles and fell 69-39. The Navigators lost against the Eagles in their previous head to head back in January of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 67-15 score last time.

Henry Ford Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Detroit Public Safety Academy, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-8.

Henry Ford Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 48-43 victory against Academy for Business & Tech on the 17th. As for Detroit Public Safety Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-46 win against Pontiac Academy for Excellence on the 17th.
