Softball Recap: Agricultural Science Cyclones vs. South Shore International Tars
Agricultural Science won the last time they faced South Shore International and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Cyclones were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Tars. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cyclones.
Agricultural Science got a massive performance out of Shealanay Williams, who fired off two home runs while going 3-for-3. Those two home runs gave Williams a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Abigail Schied, who scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2.
Williams wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Agricultural Science lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.
Agricultural Science now has a winning record of 3-2. As for South Shore International, their loss was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-3.
Coming up, Agricultural Science will welcome Clemente at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Cyclones' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 16.8 runs per game this season.
