LaBrae dropped their record down to 16-2 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's 12-game streak of wins. They fell 10-7 to the Southeast Pirates. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Vikings, who until this contest were averaging 3.83 runs allowed.

Riley Rowe was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. Another player making a difference was Morgan Thompson, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

As for Southeast, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games.

On Southeast's side, Liv Bragg looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Bragg has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Morgan Muncy was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Ava Stephens was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run and three RBI.

LaBrae wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 13-3 win against McDonald on the 30th. As for Southeast, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-2 victory against Newton Falls on the 30th.
