After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lampasas, Danbury was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Evadale Rebels an 8-0 shutout. The contest marked the Panthers' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Danbury pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Evadale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Danbury will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Rebels: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
