Soccer Recap: Obion County Takes a Loss

Obion County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Dyer County Choctaws, falling 3-0. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 8, 2021, but that streak is no more.

Obion County's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Dyer County, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Obion County will face off against rival Dyersburg at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Dyer County is set to challenge their familiar foe Crockett County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
