Soccer Recap: Hoover Takes a Loss

Hoover's game on Wednesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They lost 4-1 to the GlenOak Golden Eagles. While losing is never fun, Hoover can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 317th, while GlenOak are ranked 45th).

This is the second loss in a row for Hoover and nudges their season record down to 1-4-3. As for GlenOak, the win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0-1.

Hoover didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Harding on the 13th. As for GlenOak, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, an 8-0 loss against Hudson on the 15th.
