Hartsville is a perfect 8-0 against Lakewood since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Red Foxes will face off against the Gators at 7:00 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Hartsville is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Governor's School for Science & Math last Thursday. The Red Foxes fell 3-1 to the Eagles. Hartsville's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Lakewood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Crestwood.

Hartsville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Lakewood, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.

Everything went Hartsville's way against Lakewood in their previous meeting back in March, as Hartsville made off with a 7-4 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Foxes since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
