Soccer Game Preview: O'Dea vs. Seattle Prep

The O'Dea Fighting Irish will square off against the Seattle Prep Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Monday, O'Dea didn't have quite enough to beat Nathan Hale and fell 3-2. While losing is never fun, O'Dea can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 205th, while Nathan Hale are ranked 62nd).

Meanwhile, Seattle Prep waltzed into their matchup on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. Their defense stepped up to hand the Lynx a 2-0 shutout. Two seems to be a good number for Seattle Prep as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

This is the second loss in a row for O'Dea and nudges their season record down to 3-9-2. As for Seattle Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 11-3.
