Logan Johnson posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out 11 batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances.

Johnson's strong effort led Westview over Fallbrook and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wolverines are 7-2 against the Warriors going back to March of 2017, a lead they'll look to extend.
