Basketball Recap: ALA - West Foothills Snags Ninth Victory in Last Ten Games

If Odyssey Institute wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played ALA - West Foothills, they should've done a better job of containing Izabella Juarez. The ALA - West Foothills Guardians claimed a resounding 61-11 victory over the Odyssey Institute Minotaur thanks in part to Juarez, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and 11 steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of ALA - West Foothills' points.

Abbie Zerbe was another key player, putting up six points. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024.

ALA - West Foothills has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 36 points. As for Odyssey Institute, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
