On Saturday, Genoa Christian Academy slipped by the Pioneers 44-43. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Genoa Christian Academy.

Genoa Christian Academy found their leader in underclassman Jackson Kirura, who scored 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cody Griffey, who scored ten points.

Genoa Christian Academy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. As for Temple Christian, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Genoa Christian Academy will take on the Eagles at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Ohio (Delaware Christian is ranked 649th, while the are ranked 656th). Temple Christian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on February 9th. North Baltimore is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
