Basketball Game Preview: Lincoln Golden Bears vs. St. Clair County Fighting Saints

The Lincoln Golden Bears will square off against the St. Clair County Fighting Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Thursday, Lincoln humbled Faith Christian with a 60-27 victory. The Golden Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Clair County). They managed a 52-48 victory over Montevallo on Friday.

Lincoln is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.8 points per game. As for St. Clair County, their win ended a 22-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-19.
