Volleyball Recap: Wakefield Country Day's Win Ends Six-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Quantico, Wakefield Country Day was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Massanutten Military Academy Colonels by a score of 3-1. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since September 20, 2022, but that streak is no more.

Wakefield Country Day was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 15 points. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-10, 10-25, 25-10.

Wakefield Country Day's victory ended a six-match drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5. As for Massanutten Military Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Wakefield Country Day will take on Christ Chapel Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Massanutten Military Academy, after both having extra time off, they and Stuart Hall will shake off the rust and duke it out at 5:00 p.m. on the 15th.
