Volleyball Recap: Guymon Comes Up Short

If Guymon was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of West Texas last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tigers fell just short of the Hugoton Eagles by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2023.

Guymon's defeat dropped their record down to 15-14. As for Hugoton, with the victory, they broke their 18-match losing streak and moved their record to 4-25.

Guymon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Noble on the 13th. As for Hugoton, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Colby on the 11th.
