Volleyball Recap: North Yarmouth Academy Comes Up Short + How To Watch

North Yarmouth Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Camden Hills Windjammers. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Windjammers when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North Yarmouth Academy took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 23-25, 20-25, 25-15, 15-4.

Chloe Shervanick paced North Yarmouth Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Shervanick got some help from Kiana Roundy and her 14 assists. Eleanor Zuiches controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

North Yarmouth Academy's record is now 6-5. As for Camden Hills, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

Coming up, North Yarmouth Academy will challenge Lake Region at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Camden Hills, they will take on Maranacook at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
