Volleyball Recap: Blue Valley Tigers vs. Bentonville Tigers
Blue Valley was the 2-1 winner over Bentonville when they last played one another back in October of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Blue Valley Tigers fell 2-0 to the Bentonville Tigers on Saturday.
Blue Valley was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Bentonville work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 27-25.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bentonville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Elizabeth Dorey, who had seven digs and ten assists.
Blue Valley has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 11-21 record this season. As for Bentonville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.
