Basketball Recap: Kenton Ridge Takes a Loss

Kenton Ridge lost against London back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Kenton Ridge Cougars came up short against the London Red Raiders, falling 59-36. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 620th, while the Red Raiders are ranked 226th).

Kenton Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 5-12. As for London, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Kenton Ridge Cougars face off against the Emmanuel Christian Academy Lions at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for London, they will head out on the road to square off against West Jefferson at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
