Soccer Recap: West Philadelphia Comes Up Short at Home Against Frankford

West Philadelphia unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They lost 6-1 to the Frankford Pioneers on Wednesday. West Philadelphia were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Frankford apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

The win got Frankford back to even at 1-1.
