Basketball Recap: Lemon Bay Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Lemon Bay, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with a 61-48 win over the Ida Baker Bulldogs on Wednesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 54-37 back in November of 2024.

Luke Brown had an outrageously good game as he went 9 of 13 on his way to 22 points and five rebounds. Caleb Hutcherson was another key player, putting up seven points and six boards.

The victory snapped Lemon Bay's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 8-13 record. As for Ida Baker, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-17 record this season.

Lemon Bay has already played their next contest, a 59-48 win against DeSoto County on the 31st. As for Ida Baker, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 60-52 loss against Evangelical Christian on the 31st.
