Softball Recap: Mynderse Academy Takes a Loss

The Mynderse Academy Blue Devils lost 10-3 to the Lyons Lions on Saturday. The Blue Devils have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cheyenne Mangum made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah O'Brien, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Mynderse Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Lyons, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-1.

Mynderse Academy has already played their next contest, a 5-2 win against Wayne on the 13th. As for Lyons, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-0 victory against Clyde-Savannah on the 12th.
